oven poached asian salmon

This is a perfect weeknight recipe for oven poached salmon. Quick, easy, and perfect.

Not only does it make for perfect, flaky, and delicate salmon, it’s also a great recipe if you need cooked salmon for another recipe. For example, my spicy salmon rice bowls.

Ingredients:

5, 4oz portions of salmon belly

1 cup of sake

4 cups stock (chicken or vegetable)

1 lime, sliced

1 bunch of cilantro

1 tsp salt

2 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400.

Spread cilantro over the bottom of an oven safe 8 x 10 casserole dish. Add in garlic.

Salt salmon.

Place salmon over cilantro and garlic. Top with lime slices.

Pour in sake and stock.

Bake in oven for 15 minutes.

Remove and serve, or save for later use.
