very berry smoothie
This smoothie takes advantage of the fresh berries currently available.
It’s not as sweet as some might like, as it relies on local honey as a sweetener, but it’s tasty enough that my daughter will drink the entire batch in one sitting.
Ingredients:
1 clamshell blackberries
1 clamshell raspberries
1 clamshell strawberries, hulled and halved
3 Tbsp local honey
1/2 tsp vanilla bean
2 cups plain greek yogurt
juice of 2 oranges
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a vitamix or blender. Combine on high until smooth.
Serve chilled.
Note: you can also freeze for a frozen treat.
