sparkling orange cranberry sangria

This is the sangria of the holiday season. And, being that it’s national sangria day, it seems apropos to share. You won’t regret it. Trust me.

Ingredients:

12 oz of sugared cranberries

juice and peeled rind of 2 oranges

1/2 cup cranberry simple syrup

8 Tbsp grand marnier

1 bottle brut champagne

1 can sparkling tangerine flavored water

sparkling cranberry juice, as a float

Directions:

Add cranberries, orange rind and juice, grand marnier and simple syrup to a pitcher. Stir to combine.

Refrigerate for 6 hours before serving.

When ready to serve, add champs and sparkling water. Stir.

Pour into individual glasses, and top with a float of sparkling cranberry juice.
