One piece of kitchen equipment you need is definitely a box grater. This relatively inexpensive gadget can do anything from slicing cucumbers to grating garlic, ginger and cheese, in different sizes.
It definitely makes things easier in the kitchen, and does my favorite thing…. combines three or four different gadgets into one. You can get away without having a micro plane, or parmesan grater with this bad boy (but I won’t judge you if you have all three— I do… shhhh).
