grilled crispy brussels with potatoes

So this is another one of those restaurant knock-off dishes that I’m apt to do, from time to time. I love gettting inspo from favorite haunts, and then trying to make my own version.

In this instance, it’s our local pizza joint, wheat and water, who has a fantastic brussels and potato app. Honestly, those are two ingredients I never would have thought to put together.

Their’s has spice and cheese. I avoid that, and try to just dial down to the pure ingredients.

Not gonna lie, I like mine better. But that’s prolly ‘cause I just like to honor fresh ingredients as they are.

Ingredients:

2 clam shells brussels, halved

3 red potatoes, diced

4 Tbsp garlic oil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp dried italian parsley

1 tsp trader joes’ onion salt

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:

Combine all ingredients together in a grill safe pan. Make sure to coat all brussels and potatoes.

Grill in pan, on medium high heat, tossing occasionally, until crispy.
