shrimp cocktail

Is there anything better than a steakhouse jumbo shrimp cocktail? It’s the perfect app. And my version? It easy to make at home, and just might be the best.

Ingredients:

5 - 10 jumbo shrimp

1 tsp peppercorns

2 cloves of garlic, smashed

1 tsp salt

1/2 lemon

1 tsp dried italian parsley

cocktail sauce, (I recommend my version)

lemon wedges

Directions:

Add peppercorns, 1/2 lemon, parsley, salt, and garlic to a large stock pot full of water. Bring to a boil.

Add shrimp. Cook 3 - 5 minutes until opaque.

Remove shrimp from pan and place in a bowl of ice water to cool and stop cooking.

Serve shrimp with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.
