semi-frozen strawberry daquiri

Let me stop you right now. If you aren’t making a summer fresh strawberry daquiri for friday night happy hour at home, you’re doing it wrong.

Sorry, not sorry.

Ingredients:

12 strawberries, stemmed and halved

4 oz rum

1 oz honey simple syrup

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup water

bring to a boil until honey dissolved

juice of 2 limes

lime wedges

Directions:

Place strawberries in a ziplock bag and freeze for 1.5 hours.

Remove from freezer and add to a blender safe jar.

Add rum, simple syrup, and lime juice.

Immersion blend.

Pour into two glasses, garnish with lime wedges.
