4 ingredient easy cast iron salsa

Current favorite salsa on repeat.

Especially because I can grab a serrano from my lettuce grow whenever I want, and it takes absolutely no effort whatsoever to throw them along with tomatoes and garlic in a cast iron pan to char.

Lives in my fridge rent free and tastes so much better than even the store bought fresh stuff.

Ingredients:

4 roma tomatoes

1 serrano pepper

3 cloves of garlic, peel on

pinch of flakey salt

Directions:

Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat until hot.

Add tomatoes, serrano, and garlic to the pan. Turning when each side has charred.

Once charred on all sides remove from heat.

Add tomatoes to a large container.

Remove stem from serrano and add to container.

Remove peel from garlic and add to container.

Add salt.

Use an immersion blender to combine.
