air fried "crispy" cheese turkey club pickle viral sando
Y’all know how much i love a bread alternative. Lettuce wraps are my happy place - just ‘cause your girl can never get enough veggies.
And that’s where this viral crispy cheesed pickle sandwich comes into play.
Not cooking it in the oven. Nope. It’s the airfryer for me. And also? I don’t want my cheese super cripsy and not melty… so it’s a “crispy” for me, where the cheese is melty, and potato chips provide the crisp.
Sorry. Not. Sorry. This is my sando.
Instructions:
bacon
thin sliced dill pickles
shredded mozzeralla
avocado mayo
smoked turkey breast
shredded lettuce
roma tomato
sliced shallots
potato chips
sliced avocado
white american cheese
Directions:
Place bacon on tin foil lined oven safe baking sheet. Place in oven.
Preheat oven to 400. Remove sheet when oven gets to 400, and bacon will be cooked. Set aside to cool.
Preheat air fryer to 400.
Lay six slices of pickles on paper towels and pat to dry.
Place parchment inside air fryer basket.
Scatter cheese across the bottom. Place pickle slices in groups of three on top of cheese.
Scatter more cheese on top of pickles.
Air fry at 400 for 10 minutes, until golden brown in spots and melty. Flip and fry for an additional 10 minutes on otherside.
Remove from fryer.
Spread with mayo and top with all the things.
Wrap in parchement paper. Slice and serve.
