What can go wrong with thinly sliced and marinated rib eye steaks?
Absolutely nothing in my opinion. That’s what.
Served with some kimchi and over rice? Perfect steak meal.
Ingredients:
2 rib eye steaks
1 1/2 cup coconut aminos
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 Tbsp gochujang
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sesame oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
3 scallions, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp sesame seeds
avocado oil
Directions:
Place steaks in the freezer for about an hour before thinly slicing (I also like to remove any large fat caps).
Whisk together aminos, fish sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil garlic, scallions, and sesame seeds.
Add in sliced steaks and let marinade in fridge for at least 3 hours.
In a large sauce pan, heat a thin layer of avocado oil to shimmering over medium high heat.
Add in beef and cook until browned on both sides - about 3 minutes per side.
Remove from heat and serve.
