Sometimes, no matter how good a cook you are, there are still things that can simply make you better.

Using an oven safe prob thermometer is one of those things.

It tells you when your meat reaches the temperature you want. The exact, exact temperature you want: medium, rare, well-done (which is a complete misnomer if there ever was one).

You can select the type of meat you want, beef, lamb, pork, poultry. You can choose the cut, and it will help you determine what the right temp is for doneness.

There is also a timer function, which is great for timing basting runs.

And the best part is, that you simply place the probe in your meat, run the wire out the oven door, close the oven door, plug the probe in and select your settings, and attach the thermometer to oven door via magnet.
