pumpkin pie in a glass

It’s turkey time!

And what do we want on turkey day? Besides the turkey, of course.

It’s all about the pumpkin pie. And that’s why this pumpkin pie in a glass is the perfect aperitif or after dinner drink to get your guests in the holiday mood.

Here’s the thing… I am not a pumpkin spice latte kinda girl. I’m not a pumpkin anything kind of girl… except when it comes to pumpkin pie. And that’s why this drink is my kryptonite.

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp granulated sugar

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

2 oz of gin, plus extra for the glass rim

1 oz maple syrup

4 oz baileys

2 oz heavy cream

2 Tbsp pumpkin purée

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions:

In a wide shallow bowl or dish, combine sugar with 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice.

Fill a second bowl or dish with enough gin to layer the bottom.

Dip two martini glasses in gin and then the sugar mixture to rim the glass.

Add syrup, baileys, 2oz gin, cream, pumpkin purée, and 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice to a shaker. Top with a handful of ice, cover, and shake until cold and combined.

Strain into rimmed glasses and serve.
