If you really think about it, slaws are basically salads with cabbage instead of lettuce.

And this one is a perfect lighter side accompaniment for any asian themed meal you might be making.

Ingredients:

1 head of cabbage, thinly sliced

1 bunch radishes, stems removed and thinly sliced

1/2 jalepeno, thinly sliced

5 persian cucumbers, cut in juliene strips

2 bell peppers, seeded and thinly sliced

1 handful cilantro leaves, chopped

1 shallot, thinly sliced

4 Tbsp sesame oil

1/2 cup avocado oil

4 Tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice

1/2 cup rice wine vinegar

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp white pepper

1 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro

sesame seeds

Directions:

In a large bowl, toss together cabbage, radishes jalapeño, cucumbers, bell peppers, shallot and handful of cilantro leaves until combined.

In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, avocado oil, juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro until combined.
