wildberry-basil lemoncello lemonade sangria

Our whole family went to disney world several years ago. While we are disneyland regulars, it was all of our first time at the florida parks.

We had the best time, saw friends, ate the best food, and rode all the rides.

One of our favorite take-aways. Or at least for the hubs and I, was this alcoholic drink in hollywood studios. We found it at the pizza rizzo restaurant, while dodging a random rainstorm.

Years later, I still think about it. It was that good.

And now, I’ve turned it into a sangria. You’re welcome.

Ingredients:

2 lemons, ends removed and sliced

2 clamshells of blackberries

1 clamshell of rasperries

1/8 cup of local honey

1/4 cup creme de casis

1/4 cup limoncello

2 cups lemonade

1 bottle brut champagne or sparkling wine

fresh basil

le croix sparkling lemoncello water

Directions:

6 hours prior to serving, add lemon slices, berries, honey, creme de casis, lemoncello, and lemonade to a large pitcher.

Stir to combine.

Right before serving add champs. Stir to combine.

Add ice, a few leaves of basil, a lemon slice, and some berries to each glass.

Pour sangria into individual glasses, and top with a float of sparkling lemoncello water in each.
