quick tip: teriyaki bowls

Teriyaki chicken is great and all… but what’s even better is using that chicken to make teriyaki bowls.

Or sub out salmon for the chicken - same recipe, different protein. Same with tofu. Same with beef.

It makes a perfect family dinner, when everyone has different protein preferences. You can make one batch of marinade, and cook 2 - 3 different proteins and everyone gets what they want, without a whole lot of extra mess.

Make some rice, wok some veggies, and bam. It’s a meal.

Ingredients:

teriyaki chicken

rice

4 Tbsp sesame oil

4 carrots, peeled, sliced on a bias

2 zucchinis, sliced on a bias

1 head of cabbage, shredded

Directions:

Cook rice according to directions.

Heat oil in a large wok or cast iron skillet.

Cook vegetables in oil until softened. Remove from heat.

Build bowls with a base of rice, and top with teriyaki chicken (or protein of your choosing), and vegetables.
