michelada marinated flank steak

Considering that my bloody mary marinated tri tip is the most searched recipe, and that it brings the most traffic to my website on the daily… i wanted to figure out another boozy inspired marinade. And boy did I.

You guys, this michelada marinated flank steak is the literal bomb. It was absolutely delish. And, I’m thrilled to add it to the rotation. Both for taco tuesday and on the regular.

Ingredients:

18 oz tomato sauce

4oz can mild diced hatch green chilis

4 Tbsp avocado oil

12oz stone buenaveza salt and lime beer

I large handful cilantro leaves

3 green onions, rough chopped

juice of 1 lime

1/2 Tbsp salt

3 cloves of garlic, peel removed and smashed

2lbs flank steak

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a large ziplock bag. Move around to mix and coat meat.

Let marinate in fridge for 4 hours.

Heat grill to high.

Grill 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and tent under tin foil for 10 - 15 minutes. Slice against the grain.
