butterbeer rum martini
When we were last at universal studios; a cast member gave us a gentle nudge toward ordering a butterbeer and then purchasing a shot on the side. Totally upped the butterbeer game.
So while not frozen, and not entirely butterbeer per say, this butterbeer martini is definitely inspired by.
Ingredients:
1/2 Tbsp butterscotch
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp maldon salt
1 cup cream
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
cinnamon sugar
2 oz rum
2 oz hard apple cider
cream soda
Directions:
Melt butter over medium heat. Add sugar, salt, cream and vanilla.
Whisk to combine and bring to a boil. Stirring consistently to prevent burning.
Continue for 2 minutes after boiling.
Remove from heat.
Dip martini glasses in butterscotch, and then roll in cinnamon sugar.
Add 1/2 T butter scotch to bottom of glass.
Add rum and cider to a shaker. Top with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour into glass.
Top with cream soda.
