ground pork lettuce wraps
Still over here obsessing about lettuce wraps. Burgers, tacos, all the things. And all better when wrapped in lettuce, if you want my honest opinion. No bread needed to mask the flavor.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp sesame oil
2 lbs ground pork
2 cups shredded brussel sprouts
1 cup english peas
12 mint leaves, thinly sliced
2 tsp minced ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 green onions, sliced on a bias
1/2 jar california olive oil miso carrot dressing
3 Tbsp butter
little gem lettuce leaves
Directions:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil ‘til shimmering.
Add in ground pork. Turn heat to medium high. Cook until browned. Remove pork from the pan.
Turn heat to medium.
Add in sprouts, peas, and mint.
Stir to combine. Sauté until softened.
Add in ginger, garlic, and green onion.
Stir to combine. Sauté for 1 minute. Add dressing and stir.
Sauté until sauce is warm.
Serve with lettuce leaves.
