apple pie eggrolls
If you’re gonna buy the giant pack of eggroll wrappers (seriously, why are there so many? Who makes and eats 50 at a time?) you might as well use some of the extra as a sweet treat. Right?
Ingredients:
2 honey crisp apples, diced
1 Tbsp flour
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp butter
pinch of salt
eggroll wrappers
ghee spray
Directions:
Add all ingredients (except wrappers) to a saucepan. Heat over medium flame and cook until apples have softened, and sauce has thickened. Let cool.
Lay out egg roll wrapper, with corner pointing to you. Wet corner furthest away from you with water. Add two spoonful’s of apple pie filling. Use an envelope fold to enclose and roll wrapper, sealing with water corner.
Preheat air fryer to 385 for 5 minutes.
Spray tray with ghee.
Place eggrolls on tray. Spray tops with ghee.
Air fry for 5 minutes. Flip. Air fry for 5 more.
Eggrolls should be cooked and golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
