out and about: carthay circle lounge ‘26

dirty gin martini

Headed back to disney in May to get some time in before the summer heat and before one of my kiddos passes expired. He wanted to hit up carthay circle to try the new spicy tuna spring roll, so you know i was down.

I started out with a dirty gin martini… and I love their twist on it with the spherical ice cube. Kept my drink nice and cold. Super crisp and refeshing. The perfect martini.

Apparently the tuna roll was exactly as hoped. And I say apparently, because it was so to his liking that I got none of it. Which is a vast improvement over the last roll dish that was on the menu that liz and I couldn’t muster up the courage to eat more than 1 bite each of.

You guys! I can’t even begin to express to you how delish this pasta was. The meat, the sauces, the perfectly made dough. Like I could eat this each and every visit. No problem. Which is in of itself a problem, since the menu at carthay will prolly have changed again before we go back.
